Just
There is no love greater than love given back, unsolicited
When I give my love, it is not an expectation to have it returned
I do not seek the emotion as one would search a bargain in a sale
Nor do I expect the love to be given me, as I would pay, for a job well done
Just the fact that I love you, is my reward
My fortunes on this earth rest not in the wealth I may accumulate
Not either, in the friendships I have made and lost
My success is deemed only adequate if my heart is pleased
The sanctity of my soul cries out in joy when thinking of you
Just the fact that I love you, there lay my fortune
My happiness has reached a level now, I cannot relinquish
It shall not falter, as would the love of a man untrue
My heart, it has been opened now, exposed to you wholly
Each beat that it takes, it breathes in the desire for you
Just the fact that I love you, therein rests my happiness
My love has been given back to me, as deeply as I give out
From you this love is warmly received, this day, and eternally
Our hearts have crossed the tides of time, have meshed as if one
Our lives together will forever be as happy as this day
Just the fact that you love me, this is our reward
